Sidhaartha Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established by the Managing Trustee Dr. G. Ponnusamy with the vision of offering value based education.

Sidhaartha Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established in the year 1995 by the Managing Trustee Dr. G. Ponnusamy with the vision of offering value based education and enriching the minds of pupil�s aideprived classes. The School started with the strength of 51 with 6 faculties and classes from he KG to Std Now it has grown to a level of Higher secondary School with 1200 students on roll. The school is housed in two blocks L shaped Main Block and a Kinder Garden Block with all facilities.

Our mission is to develop young men with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. We stress the total development of each child: spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical.
Principal
Mr M.Venkatachalapathy, M.A., M.Ed., M.Phil., (Edn) served for 30 years as a PG Teacher, AHM and Headmaster in the field of Education. He is a specialist in Teaching grammar and spoken English in the simplest form. He understands students need and provides a great support for the students.
As the Principal of this Institution he creates Opportunity for students to kindle creative thoughts and talent. He has a team of dedicated teachers trying hard to change the life of the poor and downtrodden students.
Founder
Prof.Dr.G.Ponnusamy is former Professor of Economics in Pachaiyappas college Chennai and was the Chairman of the Southern Regional Committee of NCTE, Government of India. He is a great Educationalist and philanthrophyst.He founded this school in 1996 to cater to the educational needs of the poor downtrodden in and around Sevvapet Village in Thiruvallur District.
The Institution has crossed several mile stones and gives consistently good results in the Board Examinations of +2 and X th Standard Students of Sidhaartha are groomed to face the real life with courage and confidence. Many students of Sidhaartha climbed the ladder of success and hold high positions in the Government and Private Organisations.

Admission
Admission Details
- On Completion of 3 years a child is admitted in LKG.
- RTE admissions are allowed in LKG. 25% of seats are reserved for RTE admission as per the RTE Rule.
- Students are admitted in the classes from UKG to IX std on availability of seats.
- Students are admitted in XI std based on X std marks.

- Group I B - Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computer science
- Group II - Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology
